The Horse, art by Nawar Arsalan

2023 Acrylic on paper Framed : 36 × 29.5 × 1 cm Monochrome (Black & White) Unique piece

The Horse transforms figurative representation into ornamental construction. The anatomy is defined through pattern density rather than shading, allowing line work to become structure.

The contrast between white form and dark ground establishes strong visual authority. Decorative motifs evoke cultural craftsmanship while preserving contemporary graphic clarity.

The result is both timeless and assertive — a symbol of endurance and restrained force.
